Recording Station

Something I’ve striven to complete in setting up fully is my audio workstation. Completing such a task in the small space which I have was an interesting challenge, but so far, I’ve been able to pull it off with moderate ease.

A simplistic list of what this station consists of is below, with a more exhaustive list below that.

Hardware:

Mixer: Yamaha MG16/4
Interface: Stereo 1/4" converted to Stereo 1/8" to Line-In on motherboard
Recording Platforms: Arch Linux (JACK2, Audacity), Realistic Stereo Tape-Deck (Manufactured by Hitachi)

Interfacing into this are several instruments and microphones, which, as of writing, are as follows:

Guitar:

2015 Epiphone Les Paul PRO Standard 1958 Replica (Vintage Sunburst)
1976 CONN Dreadnaught

Synth:

1999 Alesis QS 6.1
Moog Sub Phatty

Organ:

1974 CONN Theatherette 552 (Re-Capped)

Mics:

Electro-Voice N/D 257
MXL 990
